This Holiday Inn Express exceed my expectations. The lobby and seating areas allowed for casual conversation in quiet surroundings. The morning complementary breakfast had a full array of tasty food and beverages. I was attending the 50th Reunion of The 3rd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division Association Golden Brigade. The location was close to other activities on the Associations venue

I picked up and dropped off several guests in my Uber on Tuesday 6/5 and the grounds and lobby looked spectacular.

It's close to West Point. Room was good, clean, but dated. Sheets had some wear and tear but smelled great. Breakfast was good. I had hardboiled eggs, bacon, an individually packaged quaker oats Oatmeal, some of the pancakes that come out of the automatic pancake maker, and a banana. Oranges and apples were available. So were muffins and all of the major cereals. They also had these seemingly fresh made cinnamon buns. I was disappointed in the gym because it was 3 pieces of cardi equipment, but there is a pool I didn't try. And there is a commercial gym 1 building over, so there is that.

Decent price, roomy room with all the normal ammeneties. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Shower flow was extreme; tons of water. Mediocre breakfast, but at least there was bacon and eggs. Decent fitness room, but everything else was sub par like the dark outdated common areas, bed sheets were static filled like I've never experienced before (literally seriously shocking to get out of bed), no scald guard or protection on hot water in showers (be careful!), heard speakerphone conversation from adjoining room (turned on fan to drown it out), and curtains had shears to close, but didn't block light from right outside the window.
Most of these things should be corrected, especially the sheet static, curtains, lighting, sound seal around outlets in demising walls, and scald protection. If they did that, would recommend.

We lost power last week after that big nor'easter. The front desk staff bent over backwards to accommodate my family until our power was restored.

Rooms are dated and are need of a little TLC - some of the fixtures were worn down, bathroom door was starting to splinter - but very large and clean. The king-sized bed we had was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in awhile.

Very nice property. Used points for the one nighter and they upgraded me nicely to a suite. The staff is very friendly and gives the brand a good name. The place is very clean and well maintained. The art work in the room was interestingly good. The eagle statue in the lobby was very cool. There is ample parking.

Nice hotel for the location, not much around, but not too far from anything either. Nice indoor pool for kids, free breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat, so I didn't sleep well and had a stiff neck.
But a very pretty and clean place

I stopped at this hotel, because my phone died & it was my first time in New York. The staff was very helpful because I was freaked out about being lost. They let me charge my phone, & gave me better directions.

"Fine" is an apt descriptor. Staff are nice, if a bit hands off. Amenities are meh at best, with a lackluster gym and passable breakfast. Nothings wrong, but nothings right either. Parking is also a bit funny, which is odd.

I had been driving from Eastern Long Island without a break when I spotted this lovely hotel around 1am. I stopped to stretch my legs. The gentleman running the place was very nice. There was fresh brewed coffee on, and and though it was apparent that I was not a hotel guest, the night clerk was very accomodating, and he happily pointed out the directions to the men's room, and even followed up to make certain that I had located it. I've done a whole lot of road travel in my day (and nights, LOL) - TOO often hotel clerks are rude, and it's always nice to find staff who are nice people who understand that their establisment is in the business of helping travelers. When I do meet such people, I often go out of my way on later visits to return to stay in these places. Cheers to Holiday Inn Express for never, ever disappointing us in our travels. You are loved!

Admittedly, the hotel could use an update, but the staff here more than make up for anything the hotel might lack! I also greatly appreciate that there is an ethernet cable in the room as a backup to hotel wifi. Wonderful stay so far!

Best place to stay when visiting West Point. The hotel staff and quality are excellent. Plan ahead for stays over busy weekends. Expect a big price increase, but that is everywhere in town. Take advantage of booking 52 weeks out. You'll need it for graduation.

This is a relatively new location, so the rooms are well-appointed with furnishings in good condition. Additionally, there are an adequate number of outlets and all are easily accessible. My one gripe is with the fitness center, which consists of a very limited selection of budget exercise equipment that is not well maintained. On the all a solid choice, and I would definitely stay here again.

Large, very nicely appointed rooms with comfortable beds and a large flat panel tv (but no hi-def programming that I could find--but I didn't look very hard, either). The free breakfast is the real deal, not just a couple donuts and bagels. They have eggs (cold hard boiled, scrambled, mini-omelet), a variety of cereals, yogurt, sausage, bacon, french toast, bagels, muffins, etc. There's a small gym and pool. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. The only drawback I experienced was sketchy internet. Overall, it worked well, but there were times when it was constantly up and down.

If I'm ever back in this area, I will certainly be staying here again!

PS: The pictures shown here appear to be from before a renovation as the room I stayed in was much more modern.
